GILBERT is a normal, somewhat shy, twelve-year-old Nebraskan farm boy. He has never ridden on a skyboard, never flown a flying saucer into space, or met a real live alien, heā??s never traveled to a distant planet, and certainly never battled the evil Martian Luminon, hellbent on stealing all the Earthā??s milk cows. All Gilbert knows is a life on a Nebraskan farm with lots of chores, school, and a grumpy old neighbor who thinks Gilbert sneaks around at night playing pranks on him by making crop circles with his friends in his field.
