We are the oldest and most established privately owned exclusive bear viewing company located in Katmai National Park. We have provided the perfect location for 3 recent brown bear documentary films by the BBC, Animal Planet and Discovery From the beginning of May to the end of October our guides live and work 24 hours a day at our private and exclusive Bear Camp located in the heart of the greatest numbers of brown bears in the world on the beautiful Pacific Coast of Katmai National Park. Our nearest neighbor is 40 miles away, the nearest man made road or trail is 100 miles distant. The habits and habitats of the bears, wolves, fox and eagles as well as the huge number of bird and plant species are well known to our experienced and knowledgeable naturalist guides who are Alaska residents. The accommodations are large comfortable heated cabins. The meals we provide are hearty family style meals. We have unlimited hot water showers and indoor toilet facilities which are clean, sanitary and do-not-smell. The Camp is very eco-standard by its design with wind generators, solar power which provide adequate additional electricity for most any needs.
